The MSK team will take you through a virtual simulation of your result before you even begin the treatment plan so you can peak into the future to see your great smile. Dr. Shah-Khan and his team will use the iTero Element® 5D plus digital scanner, their newest and most advanced scanner, to take a detailed 3D scan to create a customized treatment plan for you.
Step 2
Dr. Shah-Khan will conduct your first fitting with your first set of aligners and ensure everything fits appropriately and comfortably. In-person checkups will occur every few weeks where you will pick up the next set of aligners. Changes are often seen within weeks and patients can complete treatment in a few months.
Step 3
After you have achieved your end-result smile and are satisfied with the alignment of your teeth, Dr. Shah-Khan will fit you with the innovative Vivera® retainer, which helps you keep your teeth aligned long-term. Length of retainer use is unique for each patient and will be determined by Dr. Shah-Khan and his team with the ultimate goal of helping you maintain your beautiful smile.
